A case study from a real Direct Pest Solutions job in McDonough, Georgia. The customer’s name and address are not shared — just the problem, what we found, and how it was solved.
The Problem
A McDonough homeowner was dealing with a German cockroach infestation in her home. She had tried to solve it herself first with store-bought products, and the roaches kept coming back.
What We Found
The German cockroaches were living where sprays can’t reach — behind the appliances and inside the walls. Anything sprayed on counters and baseboards was never going to finish the job, because the colony itself was hidden.
What We Did
We pulled the appliances out and treated behind them, applied insecticide dust inside the wall voids where the roaches were harboring, and vacuumed out roaches and egg cases. Then we returned for a follow-up visit to check the home and confirm nothing was left.
The Result
After the treatment and the follow-up visit, the infestation was eliminated — no live roaches found, and they did not come back.
